Best Yarn for Amigurumi

When I share my free animal crochet patterns online, I am always asked about the kind of yarn that I use. In my opinion, the kind of yarn you should choose is entirely dependent on what you’re making, who it is for, and it’s intended use.

My very favorite yarn, and what I use for designing most of these crochet animal patterns is WeCrochet’s Brava Worsted. This yarn is very soft, but also durable, and has an amazing color palette to choose from.

My favorite plush yarn is by far, Parfait Chunky by Premier Yarns. It has held up very well for me, is super soft, and also has a great color palette, along with multiple lines of fun yarns like Sparkle and Neon!
