Tips for Crocheting Amigurumi Zoo Animals

  • When making this amigurumi zoo animals, be sure to use a suitable hook size with your chosen yarn to ensure that your stuffing will not show through the stitches of your project. You can read more about amigurumi hook sizes here.
  • If you would like for your amigurumi zoo animals to be a bit larger, try using a plush yarn like Parfait Chunky! When I use Parfait Chunky, I use a 5mm crochet hook.
  • Be sure to use a stitch marker to indicate the start of your continuous rounds while making your crochet zoo animals.
