Fiona the Fox – Free Pattern Modification

At the beginning of this year, I released an amigurumi pattern for Walter the Wolf. When I designed this pattern, I wanted it to double as a fox, but I didn’t get the chance to make a sample in fox colors until recently!
For the fox version, I used WeCrochet/KnitPicks Brava Worsted yarn. It is a super soft and inexpensive yarn, and I just love it for amigurumi. You’ll need a skein of an orange yarn, a small amount of white, and a small amount of black. In addition, you’ll need some stitch markers, craft needle, safety eyes, and poly-fil.
I would classify this pattern as “advanced beginner”. It would be helpful to have had some experience with amigurumi before creating Fiona.

PATTERN SPECIFICS
Gauge: Not necessary for this pattern; see notes
Measurements: Approximately 13” tall (foot to ear) and 9” tall (sitting, bottom to ear)
Hook Size: 4.0mm (G)
Yarn Weight: Medium (4) Worsted
Yarn Used: WeCrochet / Knit Picks Brava Worsted
Yardage: color A (orange) 56 yds; color B (white) 31 yds; color C (gray) 11 yds
Other Materials: poly-fil stuffing, 12mm safety eyes
Follow the pattern for Walter the Wolf as written; however, substitute the color A (gray) with orange. I decided to use a gray yarn for the tips of the nose and ears instead of black. I also think that would look really cute with a brown yarn and perhaps a cream color substituted for the white.
