Nala the No Sew Turtle

This pattern is so cute that it is hard to believe that the entire pattern is no sew! That’s right, this chunky yarn amigurumi requires absolutely no sewing. But that’s not all, the shell of the turtle is removable, so you can switch out the shell as often as you’d like! The turtles shown below are made in Parfait Chunky and a 5.0mm (H) crochet hook.

You can find this pattern for free here on my blog, or if you’d prefer the ad-free PDF is available on Etsy and Ravelry.

  1. Hello
    Some great crochet ideas here!
I’d like to make the elephant or rhino in plush yarn. How much yarn would I need please, in m?
    Thanks

    1. Thank you!

The yardage info for each is listed in their respective patterns. Since plush yarn varies so much, it’s nearly impossible to provide yardage to such a wide variety. However, in my experience, the required yardage is usually about 20-30% or so more than the original yardage in worsted weight. I hope that helps!
