Halloween Amigurumi Patterns
Let’s start off with my favorite free Halloween amigurumi patterns! Some of these are just so cute that it’s scary!
Zombie Bear
I have a soft spot for teddy bears and this cute zombie bear is no exception! I especially love that this pattern is nearly no sew. The legs, body, and head are worked as one piece, and the arms are crocheted in place as you work. That means that the only sewing that is required is for the ears and snout.
You can find this fun Halloween bear crochet pattern for free here on my blog, along with the video tutorial. Or you can get the ad-free PDF on Ravelry and Etsy. This pattern also includes details on making a Frankenstein version, as shown below.

Frankenstein Bear
How could we have a collection of free Halloween crochet patterns without a nod to Frankenstein!? This amigurumi bear pattern was really fun to design and uses the same base pattern as the Zombie Bear above, so it’s also low sew.
You can find the free pattern for this Frankenstein bear on my blog here.

Cory the Candy Corn
Next up on my list of free Halloween crochet patterns is this cute candy corn friend! I just love this pattern, and I had a lot of fun making it. The best part? It’s completely no sew!
I had debated on whether or not I should add arms and legs to this cutie, but I really love how he turned out. And don’t worry, if you’d prefer to make him without the arms and legs, simply omit them and work the round as normal.
You can find this free candy corn crochet pattern on my blog, or you can get the ad-free PDF pattern on Etsy or Ravelry.

Plush Ghost
I absolutely love how something as simple as changing the yarn in a project can create something totally different! Would you believe that these ghosts use the same pattern as the tiny ghost above?
Look at the size differences! The plush ghost amigurumi on the left is shown in Parfait Chunky yarn and was made with a 5mm crochet hook. The plush ghost amigurumi on the right is shown in Sweet Snuggles yarn and was made with a 9mm crochet hook.
You can check out the free ghost crochet pattern here on my blog, or you can follow the YouTube video tutorial here.

Baxter the Hanging Bat
Nothing says Halloween more than a bat! While bats are definitely not my thing, this plush one is cute and harmless! This pattern also works up really quickly and are really great Halloween gifts for those kiddos who might be too young for candy.
You can find the free bat crochet pattern here, or you can get the ad-free PDF on Ravelry or Etsy.

Cobweb the Cat
Next on my list of Halloween amigurumi patterns is this cute black cat… who is also a witch! It can’t get more spooky than that. This cute spooky cat crochet pattern is also nearly no sew, with the legs, tail, and arms all crocheted in place, while the body and head are worked as one piece.
You can find the free crochet pattern for Cobweb here on my blog, or if you’d prefer the ad-free PDF, you can get that on Etsy or Ravelry.

Mummy Amigurumi
This next Halloween amigurumi pattern is a cute little mummy! My favorite thing about this pattern is that the bandages are actually wrapped around him. I just know that my kids would have so much fun playing with that!
This spooky cute mummy pattern is free here, designed by Chai Coffee Crochet.

Witch Lovey
This next design is made for the littlest Halloween fans, a witch lovey! Of course the color options are endless with this one, but I especially love the hair design.
This witch lovey pattern is available for free from Cilla Crochets.

Themed Halloween Amigurumi Patterns
Maybe you’re not into the classic Halloween amigurumi patterns, and you’d like something a little more unique. These next crochet patterns are for you! These next few examples take the spooky cute aspects of Halloween, and combines them with your favorite patterns!
Candy Corn Unicorn
The first of the themed Halloween amigurumi patterns I have to share with you is this absolutely adorable candy corn version of my free Mini Poppy the Unicorn pattern. Mini Poppy is one of my very favorite crochet patterns, so when I was looking for something fun to do for Halloween, I knew I wanted to use her as the base.
For this modification, all I did was change the colors of the beginning of each arm and leg, as well as the curls, to give Mini Poppy a cute candy corn twist! I love how she turned out.

Candy Corn Dinosaurs
If you know anything about me and my patterns, you know that I absolutely love dinosaurs. So creating themed dinosaurs is absolutely no surprise. I have a post outlining the candy corn details for these cuties that you can check out, and make your own!
These dinosaurs are all made from some of my free mini dinosaur patterns, Mini Tanner the Triceratops, Mini Stevie the Stygimoloch, and Mini Toby the Tarbosaurus.

More Halloween Theme Ideas
There are so many different ways that you can create Halloween amigurumi patterns out of your favorite designs. Here are some of my favorite theme ideas that I just haven’t yet had the time to try out.
- Classic Halloween – Simply use Halloween colors to crochet your favorite pattern. Black and orange work great, or you can add a bit more color to it and do something with purple, green, and orange!
- Spiders – I saw someone once use my Mini Tanner the Triceratops pattern in white, and then embroidered black spider webs across the frill and the base of the legs and arms. Such a fun idea!
- Zombies – You can make just about anything into a zombie with some embroidered stitches!
- Witches – Add a cute witch hat and broom to any amigurumi to add it with your Halloween amigurumi patterns! You can even use the hat and broom from Cobweb the Cat!
Spooky Amigurumi Decor for Halloween
Let’s finish off this list of free Halloween crochet patterns with a collection of spooky cute Halloween ornaments and other Halloween decor!
Starting off with my Halloween ornaments; these are so much fun to make and work up really quickly! They work perfectly for making keychains, string a bunch together for a garland, or create the cutest car charm to hang from your rearview mirror.
Tiny Ghost
The first of these tiny Halloween amigurumi patterns that I have to share is this cute little ghost! I have to admit that this ghost is my favorite of my spooky ornaments collection. I especially like to make it in larger, plush yarns, which you can see more details on below.
You can find this free ghost crochet pattern here on my blog, along with a full video tutorial. Or if you’d prefer the ad-free PDF, you can get it bundled with my other spooky ornaments on Etsy and Ravelry.

Tiny Candy Corn
You’ll notice as you go through this list that candy corn is one of my favorite Halloween things! While I don’t even love the taste that much, I do love the colors and how cute it is as decor.
This tiny candy corn crochet pattern is free here on my blog, or you can get the ad-free PDF bundled with my other spooky ornaments as mentioned above.

Tiny Pumpkin
Another adorable little Halloween ornament to add to the list is this super cute pumpkin! This pumpkin was one of my favorites to add with a ghost for Halloween car charms!
You can get the free tiny pumpkin crochet pattern here on my blog, or you can get the ad-free PDF that includes all of my spooky ornaments, linked above.

Halloween Car Charms
While those adorable spooky ornaments above can be made into a variety of things, like garland, keychains, etc., my absolute favorite way to use them is to make car charms! This cute car charm hangs from your rearview mirror. Who says you can’t decorate your car for the holidays?
For my car charm, I make a chain of 80 and then attach an ornament to each end. I love how the purple chain is a fun pop of color between the ghost and pumpkin.

Creepy Eyeballs
This fun and creepy Halloween eyeball crochet pattern is another great option for keychains, garlands, etc. This pattern is designed by Hooked on Patterns and also includes a video tutorial!
You can find the free eyeball pattern here.

Frankenstein Ornament
Next of the free Halloween crochet patterns is this super fun monster ornament! This one would also look fantastic strung together on a garland!
You can get this free Frankenstein ornament pattern here from Cilla Crochets.

Pumpkin Snow Globe
I think this next design is such a clever idea for Halloween decor. Everyone is familiar with snow globes, but how about a pumpkin snow globe?! I think it would be really fun to also use felt for the facial details to get even more detailed options.
This pattern is designed by Golden Lucy Crafts and you can find it for free here.
