My first baby is starting school this year! Where did the time go?! Now that I have school and teacher gifts on my mind, this pencil scarf free crochet pattern would be a great option! This scarf pattern has very simple color changing to give the pencil appearance.
This simple crochet pencil scarf starts at the eraser and works to the pencil lead, created with decreases. With a few additional color changes, you could easily create a crayon scarf as well. So many possibilities!
To make this crochet pencil scarf, you’ll need worsted weight yarn, 5.0mm (G) crochet hook, tapestry needle/yarn needle, and scissors. You can find all of these over on my Amazon page here.
Don’t forget to save this pattern in your favorites and add it to your project queue to save it for later! View this pattern on Ravelry here.
How sweet is she! Who wouldn’t want to receive this scarf from a little smiling face?
I’d love to see what you make with this tutorial! Don’t forget to share a photo of your finished work in your Ravelry projects and my Facebook group!
