I had the pleasure of working with WeCrochet to design for their magazine. I thought I’d share a bit about those patterns here on my blog, and show you just where you can get the pattern and magazine for yourself!
This pattern is my first ever magazine-published design! To say that I was thrilled to have this opportunity is an understatement!
I used the downright luxurious Alpaca Cloud yarn and my Clover Amour hook for this piece. They are my absolute favorite hooks! The Lattice Lace Shawl is a long rectangular wrap worked flat from the short end. The 6-row repeat is worked continuously with a simple fringe added to each short end. Typically the designer’s finished piece is not what is shown in the magazine. WeCrochet utilizes sample makers to work the project in color(s) that fit their theme. However, they ended up needing to use my own sample which made the whole experience even more exciting!
